Today, we’re excited to celebrate the fifth anniversary of our 2D god game, Reus, with a milestone worthy of its world-shaping giants: Reus has sold over 1 million units worldwide! As part of this celebration, Abbey Games is releasing the game’s lush soundtrack on all major digital music platforms, remastered with a host of previously-unreleased bonus tracks for $4.99 USD (or a launch discount of $3.99 USD).

Remastered by Abbey Games composer Joni van der Leeuw, the album is comprised of 25 tracks which tell the story of a young planet where civilization and nature evolve, conflicts develop, and giants control the stream of history. Now, fans can listen to the soundtrack on their music platform of choice, whether it’s Spotify, iTunes, or Bandcamp

Furthermore, we’ve released a special birthday patch, featuring Unlock All mode. This brand new mode offers an accessible entrypoint for new players, as well as a way to experiment with endgame content, all the while giving back to and showing appreciation for the community that helped make this passion project a reality when it first launched in 2013.

Reus is out now on Steam (PC, Mac OS X, Linux), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, retailing for $9.99 USD for the core game, or $14.99 USD for the Soundtrack Edition, including Reus and its remastered soundtrack. As part of their fifth anniversary celebrations, each of these options will be available at discounted prices through Steam’s Daily Deal.
